Arambagh Girls' College, established in 1995, is a girls' college in Arambagh, in Hooghly district, India. It offers undergraduate courses under CBCS in Arts. There are Honours courses in 9 subjects. It is affiliated to the University of Burdwan.It is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

First, I congratulate all of you for successfully clearing the Higher Secondary Examination. This is the time to savour your success as well as think constructively about your future course of studies and career. I, therefore, extend my warm invitation to you to come and join Arambagh Girls' College. Though young, our college has already made a mark in the field of women's education, attracting students not only from the Hooghly district but also from the neighbouring districts of Burdwan, Bankura and Purba Medinipur. It offers a wide range of subjects in the field of Humanities & Social Sciences, taught by a team of dedicated faculty members, who are always ready to help the students to overcome their inhibitons and deliver their best. The college has maintained consistently good results in the University examination at various levels and many of its former students have taken up higher studies and proved themselves in the job market as well. Some of the notable features of the college are: It is located a few steps away from the central bus terminus of Arambagh, it has the right academic ambience for fostering the spirit of learning in students, it has a well-stocked library with separate with reading rooms for teachers and students; It has a separate building for students that houses a good canteen and the common room, It has a unit of the National Service Scheme. A Girls' Hostel is currently under construction and students will be able to avail hostel facilities soon.
The infrastructural facilities of the college are also regularly upgraded keeping in mind the demands of our times. With financial assistance from the UGC the college has made a significant addition to its stock of library books and installed a large number of computers for the use of students, many of whom come from the underpriviledged sections of society. Besides, the college has recently taken the revolutionary step of installing digital boards in some of its classrooms; e-classrooms will make learning exciting for students and help them experience the latest in educational technology. The college also boasts of an R.O. water filtration plant that provides students with clean and safe drinking water.
