About The Library
The Central Library is situated at the 2nd floor of the college. The library being of great significance in the teaching-learning activities of the college. Its collection of Textbooks and Reference Books is regularly upgraded on the basis of suggestions from teachers and students. Total collection of books is 16500 (approx). Efforts are currently being made to computerize the library activities and the college has already installed a standard software (Koha) for this purpose.
At present the library has separate Reading Rooms for teachers and students and subscribes to a few reputed and peer-reviewed journals for the enrichment of the teachers. Some of the good practices of the library include maintenance of Daily Footfall Register´s for teachers and students, keeping a ´Suggestion / Book Recommendation Box´ to get students´ feedback on its facilities and maintenance of a separate collection of Career-oriented books, journals and newspapers.
